Candidates should be permanent residents of Assam To apply to Assam Police recruitment and should have minimum educational qualifications as mentioned in the notification. Candidates should also check the age bar as mentioned in the notification.
Educational Qualification for Assam Police Recruitment 2023
Boatman /Constable (AB): HSLC from a recognized Board.
Constable (UB): HS or Class XII from a recognized Board.
Constable (Communication): HS Passed with PCM.
Constable (Carpenter): HSLC with ITI in related trade.
Constable (Dispatch Rider)/ Constable (Messenger)/Constable (Driver)/: HSLC with a valid driving license for LMV, MMV, HMV
Craft Instructor: HSLC with ITI Certificate in related trade.
Laboratory Technician: Passed Lab. Technical Course from Govt. Medical Collage.
Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing from Govt. Medical Collage.
Sub Inspector (Communication): MCA / BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (IT/Computer Science/Electronics) or 3 years Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/IT/Computer Engineering.
Sub Inspector (UB) / Sub Inspector (AB): Graduate or equivalent from any institution affiliated with a recognized University.
Sweeper: Minimum Class VI Maximum Class XII.
Teacher: HSSLC with Jr. Basic Training Certificate.
Tractor Operator: HSLC with Tractor Driving.

Step 2: Recruitment Notice will appear, Click on the Apply button of the respective Post.
Step 3: A new page will open. You have to click on the Registration Button to complete the registration process.
Step 4: Now you have to Login with the registration credentials.
Step 5: Apply for the Post by filling in all required details for Assam Police. After completion submit the form and download the acknowledgment.

Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
- The candidates whose application is found correct will be called for a Written Examination Test. The examination Date and time will be notified in due time.
- The Examination will carry 100 marks and will be of OMR based. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for PST & PET in respect of each category of vacancy notified. During the PST & PET candidates should have to bring all the original documents submitted during the time of application with 1 set of Self attested photocopies.
- PST (Physical Standard Test) will not carry any marks. Measurement of Height, Weight and chest will done for males.
- PET (Physical Examination Test) will carry 40 marks.
- Oral / Viva Voce.
- The final Merit List will be published.
